The 80s - The Terminator (1984)

A machine that looks human is sent back in time to the late 20th century. His mission is to kill Sarah Connor and her unborn son, John Connor. Doing so would result in having John's entire existence destroyed so he won't exist to help the humans fight a war against the machines. Kyle Reese, one of the soldiers in this war, has been sent back in time to stop the Terminator

Part 2 was the best, but I loved this one as a kid, too. All I remember from the first time I saw it was pointing at my future governor as something of his swayed back and forth while he walked nude.

I had a big crush on Michael Biehn in the movie. I just thought he was so cool and tough.

Loved the first two Terminator movies.

I wasn't too over keen on the third one though, but I guess I just didn't like the fact that John Connor was played by someone else.

I'm excited about the 4th movie that is in talks of being made. Sad, though that Arnold probably won't be in it, I mean he is the Terminator.

I loved the little scene at the beginning of the Academy Awards where the Terminator was driving the truck with all the statues.

Very good movie. Saw it for the first time when I was ten (the stuff at the end of the terminator looking all machine like scared me to death then). I always liked the second one better, but still enjoy this one.

I remember the actual machine scaring me a little too. Lol.
