"T.J. Hooker" starred William Shatner as a cop looking towards retirement. After an incident, he decides to keep the badge on and hit the streets while teaching a new group of recruits. Adrian Zmed ("Bachelor Party", "Grease 2") and, beginning with season 2, Heather Locklear co-starred.

The show debuted as a mid season replacement show in 1982. It ended in 1986 after 90 episodes. Notable guest stars include Nicole Eggert, Jerry Lee Lewis, Leonard Nimoy, The Beach Boys, Richard Moll, David Caruso and more.

I saw "The Complete Series" at Wal-Mart the other day. They wanted $70 or so for it.

I wouldn't pay that.

It is still fairly new. Sometimes they come down in price after some time. If it does, then I will definitely get it.
