| Superboy (1988 - 1992)  "Superboy" was a syndicated television series from the producers of the Christopher Reeve films. Premiering in 1988, the series focused on the adventures of a young Clark Kent/Superboy(John Haymes Newton), who is attending Shuster University with childhood sweetheart Lana Lang(Stacy Haiduk), and T.J. White(Jim Calvert), son of Dail Planet editor, Perry White. Lex Luthor also plays into the story. Season 1 opening credits: YouTube - ‪Superboy Season #1 Alternate Opening‬‏  Starting with season 2, John Haymes Newton was fired and replaced with Gerard Christopher in the role. Also joining season 2 was Ilan-MItchell Smith, best known for playing Wyatt in "Weird Science". | I just got the season 1 set 2 days ago. I was a Superman nut, so this was a must for me. It was a fun show.
