Welcome to the Summer School Thread!

A high-school gym teacher has big plans for the summer, but is forced to cancel them to teach a "bonehead" English class for misfit goof-off students. Fortunately, his unconventional brand of teaching fun field trips begins to connect with them, and even inspires ardor in some.

I loved this movie. Saw it twice in the theaters. Loved Chainsaw. He was the best.

I never saw it in a theater. I caught it on TV once and ended up liking it.

This was just a fun little movie. I also loved how they were teaching the girl to drive and Chainsaw was like "Can I call my mom and tell her I won't be home....ever?!?!". Lol.

That is good. I hate when celebrities get stuck up.

I know what you mean. This board used to be so busy, but I don't see too many people stopping by here. The FF posters seems to be getting younger, and most of them don't remember the 80s. We need to get people from outside FF.

Yeah, the posting seems to of died a bit. Some people have disappeared. I am going to start to advertise this forum in other sites I go to. I have a blog at TV.com, MovieTome, and I post on the Everwood thread here, so I am going to try to get the word out. Also, You know Clint from Moviehole, who I have mentioned before?. He is a big 80's fan, so I am going to write him too.

Stalking is a scary thing!!. I got the Summer School DVD and he's part of the short documentary. One guy said, after seeing him, that he looks like your dad. Lol.

It's no problem. I'll switch the advertisement slogans up a bit too, throw in an 80's catchphrase here and there. I just posted a comment on the WB thread on the 90's board, and I said :

Who You Gonna Call?. The 80's.
