One of Steven's movies that doesn't get as much attention as it should is a TV movie he did in 1971 called "Duel". It was very well done. It was about a man on a road trip being terrorized by this truck. We never saw the driver or why this truck was stalking him. It was very suspenseful like Hitchcock or something.

Yeah, that movie was so tense, I felt like Dennis Weaver himself by the end of it, trying to get up that hill with a dying car!

Steven was only like 25 yrs old when he directed that one!

Yeah, he was very young at the time. It was released theatrically in some places. It certainly seems more like a theatrical film than a TV movie.

It is almost impossible to rank my top 5 films of his. So many would be #1 for different reasons. It is constantly changing. For now -

3.Raiders of the Lost Ark
4.Close Encounters of the Third Kind
5.Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

It's not an article about his awards. It's a polling where the users pick from 1 out of 4 movies and the guy just shares the results.

Spielberg has dozens and dozens of awards, including at least 2 oscars.

Yeah. 2 Oscars for "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan".
