I was in a Stephen King phase in the mid 90's. I had read one of his books for the first time, I believe it was "Salem's Lot", and then devoured a ton more, but not all.

He has written many a good book, and a few really great films were made of his books. I think the best SK movies were "The Shining", "Stand By Me", and "Misery".

Ive always loved Stephen King. I first started to like him when I saw The Shining. Then I started to read his books as well. My favorite being Carrie, It, and The Shining.

I haven't read "Carrie" yet. I have "It", but I haven't read it yet. It's a large book. Lol. I also forgot to mention "Carrie" as one of the best SK movies too.

I bet.

I thought the TV mini-series of "The Shining" was really good too.

I thought it was too. I do like the actor Steve Weber as Jack though Jack Nicholson was alot more creepy.

You can't touch Jack, but I have always liked Steven Weber, and I thought he did a very credible job.

Did you know that Stephen King's father left under the pretense that he was going to buy a pack of cigarettes? Sounds like a lot of American Dads.
