| Stakeout (1987)  Stakeout is a 1987 film that starred Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez as two Seattle cops. The pair stage a stakeout watching the home of a waitress named Maria(Madeline Stowe) in hopes that her boyfriend(Aidan Quinn), who just escaped jail, will show up. Eventually, Dreyfuss' character ends up falling in love with Maria. Forest Whitaker and Dan Lauria("The Wonder Years") co-star.  Like many 80s cop/buddy films of the time, this was in the classic action/comedy mold, but with a hint of romance thrown in. The best part of this movie is the chemistry between Dreyfuss and Estevez, and the humor. A sequel, "Another Stakeout", followed in 1993 with Rosie 'O' Donnell. __________________ Relive Or Discover The Most Magical Decade.
