St Elmos Fire (1985) - B/C Where else can you see Emilio Estevez be a stalker?

I suprised to find no St Elmo's fire in the 80's section so im making one seeing its like my favourite 80s movie.

I have some screencaps which can be found Here i really should redo them so theres more but one day.
Lets get the discussion rolling

Ah! I love this movie. This is definitely one of my favorite 80's movies ever. One of my favorite scene's is the beginning with them walking up after graduating from college and the score music was great too. Jule's was definitely my favorite character. She just owned me and Kevin/Leslie were FTW.

"I don't know why you're both so worried. So, I bop him for a couple of years, get his job when he gets his hands caught in the vault, do a black mink ad, retire in utter disgrace, then write a best seller and be a fabulous host on my own talk show..."

yeahi was bored yesterday so i went about making SEF things

i love that love theme too ithink it fits the movie so wella nd how it creeps in at different partsof the movie like when billys at the university and they ask him about getting the drugs it enhances the emotion that song.

For me my favourite character is billy because he has this quality like he stuffs all these things up but deeps down all his wants is to do the right thing i think you see that because wendy brings it out in him and im abig billy and wendy shipper thught kevin leslie are cool too.

oh yesterday i was watching it on dvd and i looked at the other promos and there was one for about last night and nowi have this sudden urge to go out and watch that! lol

This (along with Sixteen Candles) is my favorite Brat Pack movie. This movie is just so relatable, we've all been there, on the brink of not knowing just what to do with ourselves and our lives, that moment in between who we are and who we will be.

Definitely is. Come to think of it, all the Brat Pack movies where. I always loved that motto/chant they always did. Even though it was corny, I always found it silly and cute.

I liked that too. I really liked how they mixed the comedy with real emotion in this as well.

They did. And I love the climatic group scenes. Like the one at the end when Jules tries to kill herself. They're all trying to break into her apartment and save her, but Alex/Kevin are too busy trying to kill each other and then Billy comes in the midst of it and is like "Wow, this really out of control."

That is a great moment of comedy and drama. No matter what, they're always there for each other.

i loved that climax scene too i think it really showed how much was relly wrong with everyone besides kirby really and .. kevi was quite funny in that scene but i love how its billy who saves her despite the fact hes in the same amount as mess as she is. I alo realy love the end scene with billy and wendy how its like there in her house and you know hes being truley honest and ding what he wants.

It was amazing seeing the two most broken of the group healing each other at the end. I don't think it would have been the same if it were anyone but them in that moment.

I adored that Billy/Wendy moment and when he kissed her on the forehead just before he got on the bus, so sweet!

I loved how Bily held Jules while she cried and told his St. Elmo's Fire speech. And we finally got insight about why she's so messed up with the cocaine/sleeping with boss exc.
