The Smurfs Appreciation Thread - Who Didn't Love the Little Blue Creatures?

The Smurfs Appreciation Thread

The Smurfs is a comic and television franchise centered on a fictional group of small blue creatures called Smurfs, created by and first introduced as a series of illustrated comic strips by the Belgian cartoonist Pierre Culliford (also known as Peyo) on October 23, 1958. Culliford's initial comic first appeared in the Belgian magazine Spirou, and several decades later was adapted into an English language children's television series by Hanna-Barbera Productions, entitled The Smurfs.

I'm looking into the DVDs. I hate that they are sold in volumes instead of full seasons.

I sure remember the Smurfs. Watched it a lot. It's available On Demand. I watch it every now and then. Brings back memories.

They are making a Smurfs movie with Neil Patrick Harris!

I haven't watched since I was a kid. lol

I recently found a Smurfs folder that I had as a child. It was surprisingly in good condition. Hehe.

That should be interesting. I think NPH was joking about it.

I've mainly seen little things like the magnets. I saw a bag once.

I'll have more to say after I get my DVDs.

I'm forgetting a whole bunch of the main characters, but I think you just reminded me that Papa was my favorite, lol. What's up with there only being one girl?
