I can see why Ricky's parents split. Edward is such a fun, silly guy who is really a big kid and the mom was a more buttoned down "rich lady". They just didn't seem like two people who went together.

Definitely not. I liked him with Kate, though.

Me too. Since she started out working with him, she already knew what he was like and she loved Ricky too.

Watched an ep where Rick's friend stayed at their house. He annoyed everyone.

The boy's dad was played by Larry (Three's Company).

It was Brad. He shrunk Kate's sweater in the wash and threw out Edward's papers. He ate all the food.

What kind of a house guest would do that? Lol. I don't even remember that character. Was he on early or later?

This was later on.

I don't think even knew how annoying he was. He was trying to help out by doing laundry. he didn't know it was wrong to put sweaters in the dryer. He thought he was doing a favor by taking out the trash, and he saw the papers's on Edward's floor. He assumed they were trash.

Sounds like the Christmas episode where Rick's other friend, Freddy, and his parents stayed with them. The parents were awful and ruined things as well.

I sort of remember that episode. Freddy's parents were a lot more memorable though.
