I was so jealous of all his toys too. For some reason the weirdest eps stick out in my head too.

Alfonso Ribero was big stuff when this show was on.

I so loved this show. I remember a few years ago they showed some episodes of it for a week on Nick at Nite and I was in heaven.

I was so in love with Ricky Schroeder. And I so wished I could have a train like that in my house. This show was such a great cheesy 80s sitcom.

I remember that and then it disappeared again. Usually when they do the marathons they add the show to their lineup for at least a little while. I don't remember seeing Silver Spoons on tv after the marathon.

I don't think I remember this show. Jason Bateman was only in it for a season, according to his filmography. I think it mentioned he was on the show from 1981-1982. Four years later(1986) he went on to star in The Hogan Family.

You know which eps I remember the most clearly are the ones where he like lived in the Poolhouse as his own place and got busted for having a big party. I also remember them playing Mister Mister when Ricky broke up with a girl.

The episode that immediately comes to mind for me is the one where he met Whitney Houston. I don't really remember what all happened just that he met her.

Oh and there was the other one where he was on a like triple date at the pizza place and the girls they were all with wanted to do a Dine and Dash and Ricky didn't really want to do it.

Ahh gotta love the cheesy 80s!
