I was about to say it would be nice if Shermer was a real place but then I remembered it is! Well, it's not named Shermer and it's not one town but several areas in the Chicago area, but at least one can go to all of them.

Yep. Most the houses, schools, etc. Well, the 'Weird Science' house is gone. I think one of the schools they used for interiors for 'Sixteen Candles' is closed or has been torn down too.
