The 80s - Secret Admirer(1985)

"Secret Admirer" stars C. Thomas Howell(The Outsiders, The Hitcher, Soul Man), Lori Loughlin(Back To The Beach, Full House), Kelly Preston(Twins, Mischief, Mrs. John Travolta), Dee Wallace Stone(E.T., Cujo), Fred Ward(Remo Williams, Tremors), and a young Corey Haim.

It's about Michael(Howell)and how he gets a letter from a secret admirer claiming their love for him. This letter then falls into all the wrong hands and chaos ensues. His father, mother, girl he likes, her parents, etc. It all gets intertwined and so on. Don't want to say too much.

It's a pretty decent 80's film and I wished I had re-discovered it sooner. The music was done by Jan Hammer, who did the Miami Vice music.

I remember a long time ago seeing this movie, it was really cute.

It is. Like I said before, I just re-discovered it. I think it's an overlooked, underrated 80's film.

Yes it is, one of those b-rated films but still good.

this was on tv a few months ago...i hadnt seen it in probably like 7 years. I forgot how funny it was! not one of my favorites, but still great!

I hadn't seen it since the 80's!. Lol. No, it's not at the top of my list, but that's only because there are so many!. It's really good all on it's own.

This is a good movie, I found it going through the vhs tapes, apparently my parents had recorded it back in the 80's. I'm so glad that they did cause it's a great 80's movie.

It definitley is.

I think this one got lost in the shuffle and like a few others didn't get the attention it deserves. It's a nice, fun movie. I definitley recommend it.
