It appears last week's big ratings were no fluke. Early indicators of last night's episode has the experts saying final numbers will be over 20 million. It was a good episode, although not as good as the first two. It was pretty stunning how Roseanne calling Harris a little "B****" and dunked her head under the faucet.

i loved the scene when she dunked her head in the sink. bit extreme. but still funny to watch. but im glad darlene finally stood up to harris and stopped being a pushover

I liked that too. My mom would have slapped me, but I guess they don't do that on TV.

Darlene has been interesting lately. In ways, she is the same Darlene with the sarcastic wisecracks, but is also different in the way she was a pushover with Harris. Even Dan said "Where is the Darlene we used to know and love and, quite frankly, feared?"

Well, I just saw an old episode where Roseanne spanked DJ and then kneed him after he stole their car so slapping Harris wouldn’t be a surprised to show on their tv show!

I laughed at her dunking her head and saying Welcome to the Hillbilly Spa

Darlene saying “well, I’m sorry your henchmen are stupid, Riddler”

Roseanne getting into the shower to make Harris get out to her horror about showering with Grandma

The thing about the spanking though is that Roseanne felt horrible afterwards because her dad used to beat her and Jackie when they were little. She was racked with guilt about it. Now she tells Darlene her generation has become too PC and doesn't spank.

Well, my parents spanked but they didn't abuse us. Some would argue it's the same thing.
