I love this movie! Ive always had a thing for a love/hate relationship and they finally realize their feelings for one another towards the end. Such a cute love story. Has anyone seen this film?

I love this movie. Their bickering was too funny. I also loved the adventure in it. My favorite scene is when he damages her shoes:

Joan Wilder: These were Italian.
Jack Colton: Now they're practical.

I haven't seen this movie in a while. My mom loves both of them (Romancing the Stone & Jewel of the Nile). I love Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. They really have good chemistry with the love/hate relationship thing.

Same people as the first. (Main characters, at least.) I don't know... I didn't like the second one too much either. Not sure I liked them as a couple right from the start. I liked the first one when they kinda "fell in love."

Oh my god, I loved this movie! Yes, I am a bit of a sucker when it comes to liking the love/hate relationships too - and Kathleen Turners character was so funny, I loved how she was the sappy romance novelist who lived alone with her cat and cried while writing her own stories. Classic.


And he was so self involved and greedy. They were the perfect match.

I haven't seen this movie in a while. We only have it on VHS and I don't usually watch those anymore. I wish Kathleen and Michael would do (yet another) movie together. I just think they're so good opposite each other!

they were great opposite of eachother.

i have seen "Jewel of The Nile" but i don't remember much about it. this one was great though and i loved how in the end he came back on that ship through the middle of the street wearing that alligator on his boots. it was an awesome ending!
