Rocky Films- A Fighter. A Lover. A Legend. The Greatest Challenge

I thought I would start a thread for all the Rocky films since his lastest movie is out in theatre. Only two of the Rocky films were in the 80's though which were Rocky III and Rocky IV. Anyone a fan of the films?

LOVE Rocky!. I liked them before, but I really wasn't into them until a little later on. Saw Rocky IV in the theater.

The first Rocky is a classic. It's a great movie. I liked 2, 3, and 4 very much. 5 is my least favorite. I really, really liked and enjoyed Rocky Balboa. I thought it was a great Rocky movie.

These are great movies. They can still move and inspire, even though you know how it turns out. Lol.

I think it won for best score too for the iconic theme.

At first, the studio didn't want Sly for the movie. He was a no name then. They wanted a name. He said he wrote it for himself and he was going to do it!. Lol.

The first one. That's pretty hard to beat. It was so good. I don't know if any of you have seen the last one, "Rocky Balboa", but it was really good. Probably the best sequel of them all.

I agree. No I have yet to see that one. I like the actor who plays his son so I should check it out.

You should. It's great. They are not kidding themselves, you know?. Sly is not a young man anymore, and that takes issue in the movie. He could still wipe the floor with me with one hand tied behind his back. Lol. It's just great. Kind of goes back to the beginning in some scenes. Pretty sweet and heartfelt. It has a nice ending.
