Having just watched "Robocop 3" I can now remember another reason I didn't like it much. They watered it down to PG-13. The first two were major "R" films. I think they were trying to make it more kid friendly.

That are the only ones you really need to see. "Robocop 3" was a real let down coming off of the first two. A different actor was playing Robo and it was PG-13 instead of the usual R. I never saw the remake but there was nothing good said about it.

I just hope the rumored reboot (which is supposed to be a sequel) to the original comes true and returns the series to it's former glory.
