I always thought his name was spelled Blaine but then I looked it up on IMDB and it said Blane.

Same here...that's usually how I've seen it spelled, but then again, like I'm one who should go by usual spellings.

I love the unique spellings of names.

Unique spellings are cute, but it can be confusing for the person. You have to go around correcting everyone who misspells your name because they want to give it the normal spelling.

I know we're supposed to root for Ducky and Andi, but since I spent the 80's (and 90's) lusting after Andrew McCarthy, I have to go with Blaine. I did love Ducky, though.
