Interesting that Phil came out of retirement, but the other genesis lead - Peter Gabriel (my preferred leader of Genesis) has stepped away quietly

Peter Gabriel never stated that he retired

anyway this song is a hint into his retirement status->

Some people just retire and step away from the limelight with no announcement or anything. They are just gone. A few of my favorite actors did that too.

Peter Gabriel is pretty significant though, every episode of FX's the Americans feels like the inside of a Peter Gabriel song (if that makes any sense)
