He's on Twitter and he's been saying that he has been writing some new stuff and singing. Might get some new music soon!. It's been 8 years since his last studio album.

Me too. It's been so long since I've heard new stuff. He did release a Christmas CD in 2004, but a studio album has been even longer!.

It was. His voice was perfectly matched for a number of classic Christmas songs. They sounded beautiful. The CD was called "It's Just Gotta Be Christmas". Had 3 original songs on it too.

I love that song too. I got the soundtrack just for that song. Lol.

Jenny - I look forward to new stuff too. I miss some of the voices I grew up with that you don't hear much anymore.

I know the rest of the band became a bit angry because the band became THE PETER CETERA SHOW in the 80's. Lol. He wanted to have a solo career but stay in the band, a Phil Collins/Genesis thing, but they refused.
Didn't know that.

Gonna look that one up. Probably knew it and forgot.

Melis - More songs the merrier!.

playgrounddiaries - Chicago had some rules. It was a "all for one,one for all" kind of a thing. Once they got more poppy in the 80s, there was less for the horns and stuff to do. Peter was front and center. They never really had a front man, and the band didn't really want to be "Peter Cetera's band", you know?.
