Donna Pescow, who played the mother, became pregnant during the second season of the show. They couldn't have it in the show since her husband is an alien and not on earth. Lol. They had to cover her up.

Not a Halloween episode, but it's the closest. It was called "Eviegeist". Evie gets the flu and it sends her powers out of control. Kyle (the mayor) is there and sees it in action. He thinks the house is haunted. He brings in a woman to get rid of it and Evie and her mom realize there really is a ghost in the house.

I didn't think it could do other things. Obviously it was for fun since it appears she is smiling.
