I really don't know what to watch on TV at the moment. Except for The O.C, which I forgot to tape last week. Anyhow, I hope I get the opportunity to start watching the 24 season three DVDs sometime soon. Stupid work has kept me too busy to watch 'em.

I'm so glad we had cable tv here (I am still overseas). Mom and I were able to watch the Olympics on two different channels. Gosh I love the Olympics
It was in the 80's that I first started watching. My first "Olympics" so to speak, were the games held in Los Angeles. I think the most memorable moment was when the cauldron was lit by a flaming arrow (Barcelona, 1992 Summer games). It was a paralympic athlete who fired the arrow. Such an incredible moment. By the way, I am finally returning home! I'll be back in the U S of A this weekend. Once I recover from jet lag, I'll resume posting in my usual fervor __________________

I watched some Everwood early on, and really enjoyed it. But somehow I drifted away from the series, pretty much like I did with Gilmore Girls.
I love Gilmore Girls, but the show got shafted a bit here since the station airing it moved the timeslot it aired around a bit. During that period I lost track of the series since I forgot to tape and/or taped the wrong time. I'll catch up through DVDs sometime instead. Speaking of DVDs, I think I've shown great restraint lately since I haven't started buying either Angel, Friends or Sex and the City DVDs yet. Although I want them. __________________

I still watch Everwood although I don't think it's the same anymore. It got too teenybopper for me in the 2nd season.
I never really watched GG, so I can't comment. Hehe. I know what you mean. There's so many DVDs I want to get. |

I'm boarding my flight home in five hours or so, but I wanted to come by and post before I left
It's been my observation that obsessions never leave you, they just change subject matter. Once an obsessor, always an obsessor I kind of stopped watching WB stuff after Roswell. I guess it wasn't the same for me. I've shown similar restraint, Melis. I haven't bought the Roswell DVD's. For the sake of my checkbook, let's hope the feeling lasts __________________

I haven't been able to resist the temptation to buy season one and two of Roswell. I am so weak!
Anyhow, funny and/or odd (whichever applies ) thing is: I fell for Roswell instantly and I still like the series well enough. Buffy took me a couple of watchings, including reruns of season one and two before I was hooked. I liked Buffy, and watched whenever I remembered it but I didn't mind missing episodes here and there first time around. Now, I'm the other way around, I'm obsessing much more over Buffy than Roswell - and I've spent the summer rewatching the Buffy DVDs. __________________
