| The Night They Saved Christmas(1984)  "The Night They Saved Christmas" was a 1984 made for TV movie that starred Jaclyn Smith("Charlie's Angels"), Paul LeMat("American Graffiti"), Art Carney("The Honeymooners"), and singer/songwriter/actor Paul Williams. The movie was about the Baldwin family, who lived way up north. The father is bombing parts of the north for an oil company, and an elf comes to the wife and kids to get them to help. It seems the bombing of land is getting way too close to the North Pole, and Santa's workshop, and it is imminent danger!. They must get everyone to believe and stop the blowing up of land before they blow Santa right along with it!.  I only discovered this one a few years ago, but I kind of recall it from the 80s. A classic to many, it has that great yueltide/made for tv 80s feel and tone to it. I just like this one.
