I don't know any nominees for the recent kids choice.
I am not sure if I saw the first one but I know I saw the second one in 1989.

Me either.

Since it was on later at night, I didn't get to watch a lot of Nick at Nite when I was little.

Oh, I did! That was one of my favorites when I was smaller. It was a cute show. it took place in a department store after hours. The guy was a mannequin who came to life after the store closed. I can't remember why or how. I want to say it was when you put the hat on him. Oh, it was when the hat came on and someone said "hocus pocus alimagocus". He can't leave the store or he will be a mannequin permanently. There was the puppet guy there who was the store security guard and the puppet mouse. The lady was the store's display designer.

It was. Basically, Jeff the mannequin hasn't been alive for very long so he doesn't know a lot. Every night when the store closes, Jodie the lady would carry him to an upper floor and the mouse would say the words that brought him to life. The show usually taught lessons with a show focusing on one subject.

Even though Nickelodeon was for kids and they had some very kiddie stuff, there was something about a number of shows back in the day that had more weight. I mean, YCDTOTV had some dark humor. "Mr. Wizard's World" actually was educational.

My dad loved TV. He'd watch most anything.

They would have a lot of contests and giveaways back in the day. Not sure if they do that anymore.
