| Elite Fan   | Christmas vacation is a tradition during the winter holidays for my family. There hasnt been one december month in the last 7 years that we havent watched it at least once. | What about Vegas ? That's my favorite. Although I guess it wasn't made by National Lampoon. Cousin Eddie is at his creepiest and you have to love Ellen giving up Clarke for Wayne Newton. | |||

| My favorite was the European one. The Wally World ep is my second fav. (watching them leave Aunt Edna's dead body on her son's doorstep because they're in a hurry to reach Wally World never fails to crack me up) | |||

| When they show the Wally World one on t.v., they of course edit out the bad words. (as they do with the rest of the movies) But there's one edit that makes me laugh. It's the scene where they're at Cousin Eddie's. Audrey and Cousin Vicki are on the seesaw. This is how the scene is in the movie: Vicki: "I'm going steady. And I French kiss." Audrey: "So? Everybody does that." Vicki: "Yeah, but Daddy says I'm the best at it." (cue horrified look on Audrey's face) When they show it on t.v., they alter Vicki's second line to say "Yeah but my science teacher says I'm the best at it." I guess the t.v. networks figured that an incest joke just wasn't appropriate. Heh. | |||
