These movies are so funny! I was watching Vegas Vacation on t.v. the other day and there's a scene where Clark is looking at the kids and says, "I don't even recognize you anymore"

They never did get the same actors to play the kids in any movie.

I remember that line. That was funny.

I guess they wanted to keep the Griswolds a family. The parents get older, but the kids stay kids. Lol. Obviously, you couldn't use the same kids then, although they still could of used Anthony Michael Hall and Dana Barron in 'European Vacation'. I think Dana was ready to do it, but I'm not sure what happened.

I think what happened was Anthony Michael Hall wanted to do another movie instead of European Vacation and that's why they recast both of the kids.
