Thread #11 for the classic comedy franchise that began in 1983. The film series follow the Griswold family, headed by Clark and Ellen (Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo), and their disastrous family vacations with children, Rusty and Audrey.

The films include National Lampoon's Vacation in 1983; "European Vacation" in 1985; "Christmas Vacation" in 1989. A fourth film, "Vegas Vacation", was released in 1997.

I watched Christmas Vacation last week, and the part where the rottweiler chases the squirrel out the door as they both jump on the neighbor, as Chevy Chase shuts the door and shouts "GONE!" always cracks me up :lmao:

Eddie was the biggest surprise of the movie, in many ways. The family member who initially posed more problems for Clark, then ended up giving him peace of mind. Fun character!
