| My Bloody Valentine (1981) - It'll Rip Your Heart Out!  Synopsis: "A small mining town prepares for their first Valentine's Day dance in twenty years. Suddenly, a dark tragedy from the past comes to stalk the present day as miner Harry Warden, who snapped and went on a killing spree after a mine collapse, returns to make sure the locals don't go through with their party. They don't listen....and the blood will flow."  MBV came out at the height of the early 80s slasher boom. The 'Golden Age' of slashers. It was Canada's answer to "Halloween" and "Friday The 13th". Out of all the immitators at the time, MBV is the best of the bunch and my favorite. It has a cool, eerie setting, and some great gore. | I thought we needed something festive for the month. Lol. I actually really liked the remake. The only remake I really do. | Big shock! Lol. This is a good one. It stands out from the rest of the wannabes at the time.
