Didn't see any other Muppet threads.

I re-watched "A Muppet Family Christmas" (1987) this year.

It was, I imagine, the first time that the Muppet characters met some Fraggles and also hung out with the gang from Sesame Street. How cool.



It's worth it to see the original broadcast commercials alone! Lots of Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Wrigley's gum, and extended holiday ads for things like M&Ms.

Kermit & Miss Piggy
Going back to 'The Muppet Show' in the 1970s, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy had an odd relationship, characterized with Piggy chasing after the reluctant amphibian as he anxiously hopped away from her. Although the couple were married, Kermit insists that was onscreen: "I'm just an actor and when two actors marry on stage, they're only acting," Kermit said in a 2014 interview. "I will simply say that we are in a very committed, long-term relationship, and I think that is valuable." Interjected Piggy: "See? See what he does? Just totally avoids it."
