But I think you'll see why they just take you back to that golden decade of sunshine, hot cars, hotter women, and cool music.

I love those videos. Florida or L.A., they were filmed so wonderfully back then. Hot cars, lights, girls, the sun rising or setting over palm trees, etc....

Yep, I get flashbacks just watching them.

Oh yeah, both Florida and California looked great back in the 80s. Especially Los Angeles and Miami. They filmed a lot of stuff in LA because it was cheaper since that's where all the studios were. A lot of shows like Moonlighting, Hunter, The A-Team, The Greatest American Hero, etc. were shot in LA. Miami Vice was originally gonna be set in LA, but the creators finally chose Miami instead. It may have been Michael Mann's suggestion.

Sorry, to double post, but I just wanted to show you another cool video.

The three vids I showed you had retro 80s synth music from these retro bands called Miami Nights 1984 and Dance With The Dead. The vid with Miami Vice and To Live And Die In LA featured the track 'On The Run' and the vid with Miami Vice and Scarface featured the track 'Elevator of Love,' both from the album 'Early Summer.' The third one featured the Dance With The Dead track 'Only A Dream.'
