Bud: Hey, they're hosting a talent show contest.
Peggy: Yeah, and the first prize is 500 dollars.
Bud: Why don't we enter?
Al: Because we don't have any talent.
Kelly: Dad, what are you talking about? Bud does a solo act every night. Of course, he hasn't gotten an award for it since the Cub Scouts.

Kelly: I'm trying to teach these kids how to read.
Bud: But, Kelly, you can't read.
Kelly: Well you can't score, but you still have a bed.

Al: Kelly, when I was a kid, there were lots of parties I wasn't invited to. I showed up anyway. I stood there with a big smile on my face, and said, "I'm here." and headed right for the food. Sure, they didn't want me there, but I had a great time. And if they didn't, so what? The point is if you want to be there, be there. Even if they hate you. You're a Bundy. Start acting like one.

Al: Dad had one great dream, a dream that had been handed down from generation to generation of male Bundys: to build their own room and live separately from their wives. Sadly, they all failed.

Peggy: Is it dead, Al?
Al: It doodied on the trap, Peg, and in my bowling shoe.
Peggy: Something went in your shoe and lived? Will you call an exterminator now?
Al: Nah, now it's personal.

Does anyone remember this show?

Yes I remember it and I still like it a lot. When I was a kid I loved it and it was my favorite show. I loved all the "mean" stuff they said to each other. On the most shows the people are nice to each other and stuff, so I enjoyed it that Married with children was different.

I used to LOVE this show. Sometimes they still show the re-runs on tv, and my hubby and I will watch them. I always love how clueless Kelly was, and how funny Peggy and Al were together.

Yay Im glad to see some fans of the show, I use to watch this show all the time when I was younger. My dad still have very old tapes of almost all the epsiodes first aired live recorded on them. I told him that he can now get the dvds since the tapes are that bad, lol. I liked how different Married with children was too.

I guess the first season for me. I didn't know they had the dvds out already. I just found that out today when taking a trip to Best Buy.

Bud was good, he grew up to be a little cutie, I liked Al as well. He was my favorite. I love how miserable he was at his job until some young skinny chick came in, and he just light up like a Christmas tree
