This show is one of my favorites to watch. It's so funny and I just love Mama. She has like the best lines on the show. Does anyone else like/watch this show?

I love Mama's Family. I used to watch the reruns all the time but I never can find them on television anymore. I have some episodes recorded on tape somewhere but I have no idea where they are.

I love the shows with Iola and Bubba more than the ones with Vint's two kids. I think my favorite episode is when Mama has the consumer report show on the radio. But I have a lot of favorites.

Jen- I agree with you. I really like the Iola and Bubba epsiodes then the Vint's kids. They seem much more funnier. I usually watch Mama's Family on TBS.Mama's Family Epsiodes

That link shows what epsiodes are coming up and what time they start. I ususally watch it at 5am on weekdays since I'm a late sleeper.

Blues- That is also one of my favorites too and when she goes to Hawaii.

I watched the Grandma USA epsiode acouple days ago. It was so funny seeing Mama try to compete with the other grandma's to win. There was this scene where the host guy askes the three standing winners a question. He askes the first one "What do you like being a grandma" and so she answers it, then he askes the other one for three wishes she would make and she basically says "world peace, curing diseases, and helpin the homeless" then when it was Thelma's turn the guy askes " How old are you". and Thelma's goes " Say what?". So he repeats himself and Thelma looks at him like his crazy and says " What the hell kind of question is that. Why didnt you get me a good question like you did with thunder thighs over there" (She was talking about the world peace lady). and He goes " Just answer the question". and She goes " And the answer is, its none of your damn business" then she walks away over to the two standing. It was so funny. Unfortunaly Thelma didnt win .

Rainstorm18 : Thanks for the link. I used to watch them on TBS but I thought they had taken the show off. I'll definitely check out the schedule. You know I thought I had seen every episode, but I don't remember that Grandma USA one. It sounds really funny.

I know, it was. I need to start taping more eps. I have almost the whole season 3-4 on tape. I hope they start making dvds of the show.

They should make the DVDs! Oh, that would be awesome. My older sister got me into Mama's Family a few years ago. It's hilarious! My favorite ep is probably when Bubba wants to take pics of them and Iola totally freezes!

Also, when Naomi loses her memory. This show was greatness. Pure greatness.

Thanks Rainstorm! Geocities doesn't allow you to post their pictures on other sites. Oh well. I think they recently had a Vicki Lawrence Show reunion back in May but maybe they'll do one soon for Mama's Family.

~*I like this show! I remember when it first came on and then when they syndicated it. I like the Bubba years much better. I really didn;t care for Vinton's kids at all.

I love that pic of them with the Christmas tree. Was that the episode where Mama called the fake tree a "stainless steel toilet brush"? And they ended up having a traditional, old fashioned Christmas but she couldn't kill the goose (I think it was a goose).

I would definitely buy the dvds. Mama was one of the top 16 guilty pleasures in Entertainment Weekly's issue this week. It said in the article that Vicki Lawerence has a one woman show in which she plays Mama that she does in different theaters in Vegas. I'd love to see it.

vc318- No problem And I know, I tried posting other pictures by Geocities and it wouldnt allow me . That would be great if they had a Mama's Family Reunion. I would love to see what the characters look like now.
