Mama couldn't find the star her late husband made himself that they put on top of the Christmas tree. She was upset. She said Vint threw it out but he didn't. When she returned from playing Santa at the mall all filled with the Christmas spirit, she sees the star on top of the tree. She asked her late husband if he did that and the star lit up bright.

The house used for the exteriors of Mama's house has quite the connection to the original "Halloween" movie. It was P.J. Soles 's (Lynda's) house in the movie and the hedge where Laurie sees Michael as they walk home from school is just two doors down.

I watched an episode where they brought in a psychic for a reading and Mama wasn't buying it until the lady contacted Mama's late husband and said things she couldn't of known. In the end, Mama learned Vint told the lady all sorts of things on the ride to the house since he had to pick her up and that is where she was getting her information.

Mama felt bad that Iola didn't have a date. Mama tells her she should get one and that she (Mama) had one herself. Naomi suggested they call "Rent-A-Gent". Mama had that reaction in the gif because she was shocked to see this 30 year old guy when she had planned on a 70 year old.

Mama was still sharp and funny in the early seasons and I liked seeing Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Carol Burnett on there, but I like season 3 onward better because they added Iola and got rid of Vint's boring kids and added Bubba.
