Since there's no thread for MASH (I think there used to be one - not sure) I'm starting a new one. I know the show was mostly on in the 70's but there's no place at FF for stuff like that. MASH was on for part of the 80's. ;)

Here's some news that you've all been waiting for. When Season 11 and the Complete Series will be released on DVD. Both are available on DVD, November 7th.

TVShowsonDVD has the price, but it's way more expensive here in Canada and they recomend buying it in the U.S. and pay the exchange. It will still be cheaper to buy it in the U.S. Here's all the details if you're interested:

I love this show! I watch it everynight from 11-1am on the Hallmark channel. And i have a couple episodes on DVD.

Loved the character of Frank Burns, he was such a hilarious character.

An update on the Series Finale DVDs:

I quite liked M.A.S.H.

Klinger and Winchester were riots! Klinger with his Section 8 seeking and Winchester with his snobbiness. I never really liked the old cast like Frank and Trapper etc, but I liked Radar :) Margaret got on my nerves sometimes, but she was still a great character.

I dont know the name of the eppy, but it was when a baby was found in front of the Swamp because the mother abandoned her (I think it was a her) :lol: And the whole camp wanted to hold her. Then they had to find a way for her to get into the US because her father was American and the mother was Korean, but no-one would help them :( So, the only solution was to send her to the Monestary so the monks could take care of her. The episode made me cry at the end when Hawkeye said something like "for the last few days, that little baby brought light into such a dark place. It doesn't matter where she is, a little bit of her will leave here with us."

A friend of mine just got a DVD set for christmas... and we're still trying to finish the whole series :lol:

Hawkeye is my fav character... closely followed by the rest ;) Tho Radar is up there :nod:

I adore M*A*S*H! :sigh: I own them all on DVD!

My favorite characters are Margaret, Hawkeye, Charles,Potter, and BJ. :)
I like almost all of them though! My least favorites were Frank and Trapper.

I'm in the minority in that I prefer the later, post-Henry/Trapper episodes to the early ones (though they were awesome!)

I'm the same. Not really a huge fan of Frank and Trapper.
