Eastwood is still directing movies at 89, so no reason Donner can't get in there I guess. Mel and Danny are older, of course, but Arnold and Sly are still doing it in their 70's. I think Danny is 72/73 and Mel is 63? 64?

but im glad this movie is coming back. I love this franchise

Yeah, although he is 10 years younger than his character. Murtaugh was turning 50 in the first one but Danny was 40. Murtaugh would be 83 now if they are going by that timeline. Lol.

Yeah, I love the franchise. One of my top favorite action franchises.

I am still skeptical of it happening but this is the first time that someone important, a producer, has said it was coming. Fingers crossed.
