Very true. I am sure nostalgia makes a big part of it, but I also think, along with other TV revivals and whatnot, that it just represents a time when things were more fun and special. Stuff had heart and were just iconic. So much stuff nowadays seem to try so hard to be serious/pretentious and most of it doesn't have lasting power even if it does run for years, you know what I mean? No real impact other than praise and awards.
