Yeah, Elm Street was the first time I saw him too. Wes Craven said his teenaged daughter at the time helped get him the role. She was at his offices the day Johnny came to audition. She and some of her friends were outside the room, and when he walked out, all of them ran in and she was like "Dad!, who was that?!." He told her his name was Johnny Depp. His daughter goes "That's the most beautiful guy I've ever seen!. You have got to put him in your movie!." Lol.

I got the first season of 21 Jump Street here recently too. It's been a blast!.

Johnny filmed "Benny And Joon" where I live. My sister worked in a lounge at the airport at the time. It was late and not a lot of people were around. Johnny came in. I don't remember if he was leaving or coming in or what. Just my sister and Johnny. She waited on him and talked with him for half an hour!. Years later, her and her husband became co-owners of the diner in the movie where he does his routine with the rolls.

Dark Shadows was actually a soap opera from the 60s/70s about a vampire named Barnabas Collins. It was a gothic soap with vampires, werewolves, and all these things. That's the basics. I've never seen it.
