| Jem and The Holograms Animated TV Show Jem and The Holograms was premiered on the 1st of October 1985 and lasted on the 1st of May 1988. It tackles the adventures of Jerrica Benton with her sister Kimber and friends as they became one of the successful music group. Jerrica Benton inherits the ownership of Starlight Music and the Starlight Foundation when their father died. With the help of her earrings which is actually a secret computer/hologram machine named Synergy created by her father she, her sister and two of their friends namely Aja and Shana became the successful music group Jem and the Holograms to compete with the Misfits who was created by Jerrica's rival Eric Raymond. The series shows their encounters with many sabotage plans. Impossible dangers and personal lives like with their heartbreaks. | |||

| i used to  this show... i can still remember all the words to the song in the beginning. i had the Jem dolls too... they were so much bigger than the Barbie dolls, they almost looked like crossdressers  __________________  RIP Daddy, John, & Michael Jackson! | I love this show. I wasn't even born when the show went off the air and never caught it in re-runs, but I have the dvd and I love it and the theme song. Yes...even though I'm almost 18 I still like looking at cartoons, lol. | |||

| I loved this show when I was young! My sister was obsessed with it, I'm sure she had a Jem doll and a car (or maybe it was a Barbie car). Cartoons aren't the same anymore.
