"High School U.S.A." was a televison all star made for TV movie that NBC was so good at in the 80s. Michael J. Fox stars as a high schooler who falls for a girl (Nancy McKeon) who is eyed by Mr. Popular (Anthony Edwards). The two fight for her affection by having a drag race. There are other running stoylines: A student invents a robot; Another student struggles with class distinction; A parent stages a contest amidst the teachers.

Last time I checked, there was a used copy on Amazon for $2 something. DVD cover is ridiculous though. Lol.

It is. It wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be, but it was good as a nostalgia piece and worth seeing. And yes, a fun cast!
