48hrs (1982) - The boys are back in town!
 "48hrs" is an action-comedy that is hailed as being the first "buddy cop" movie. San Francisco cop Jack Cates (Nick Nolte) enlists the help of an incarcerated con named Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy), who he gets a 48 hour leave from prison, to help him nab a cop killer.  Trailer:  This was Eddie Murphy's very first movie role and he was also nominated for a Golden Globe for it. A sequel, "Another 48hrs.", followed in 1990.   __________________
