Yes.

Apparently, Jamie Lee is already done filming. That was very quick for her. It was like a week or so. She either doesn't have a big part in this one, or they filmed all of her scenes in a week like they did with Donald Pleasance (Dr.Loomis) in the first one.

Ryan Turek, the producer of the new Halloween movies, said that is just pure coincidence and that man is not involved in his movie at all. They’re not going to disrespect Donald that way by recasting him.

Okay. I know they are doing flashbacks so I thought maybe they were using a stand in for a quick shot or something.
