Yeah, I don't think there is a 4 movie set for Halloween, mainly because the franchise has too many different US distributors between the movies.

Might have been thinking about the Nightmare on Elm Street series.

Yeah, it must of been the Elm Street one. Lol.

However, parts 6-8 (The Curse Of, H20, and Resurrection) were released in a box set last year, since they were from the same studio.

They were supposed to be making Halloween 3D, but it was put on hold.

My guess is that they're waiting to see how Scream 4 does first before going ahead with Halloween 3D.

Possibly. I know the director attached to the project, Patrick Lussier, was already signed to do another film. They said it was a tight fit and decided to put the film off until he had more time to do Halloween 3D right.

"Halloween : The Inside Story" will air as a one time special on A&E on October 28th.
