I always loved Halloween episodes. Roseanne did great Halloween eppys.
I always show Halloween movies to my students. We watch Garfield and The Great Pumpkin. I'm really not supposed to since it's public school, but I do it anyway. __________________

Good for you!. When I was little, there were parties, costumes, and all that in school. Then schools became prisons. I'm glad I was gone by that time. Kids today are missing out. Again, good for you for being a good/cool teacher and showing them that. __________________

Yeah, it was always fun. I loved Halloween, and I still do. It was fun to watch all the stuff on TV and to dress up.
Thanks. I always have a few students who don't celebrate Halloween, but the majority do celebrate. I don't see the point in punishing the whole class when it's just a few who do not celebrate. I always send home a letter to the parents, and if any parent have a problem, I send those student to another class. __________________

Same here. Of course, now it's not allowed. Any party we have cannot be a holiday party. I can get away with it by calling it a "Fall" Party or a "Harvest" party.
I bet that is fun. I never taped much in the 80s. When I was a kid, I didn't know how to do that. lol __________________

Well, I started making tapes in 1994. On the 16th now. Just filled with Halloween related shows, movies, cartoons, or anything horror/haunted related. At least I know I will have lots of Halloween goodies to watch every year!. __________________

Yeah, it has become crazy. Kids are not allowed to have fun in school for fear of offending someone. It's really awful. Well, my kids are going to have fun. If parents have a problem, then their kids don't have to participate.
Oh that sounds fun. I would love to have a Halloween collection. __________________

Heh, thanks. Most kids want to have fun. It's the parents who won't allow it. I've had kids cry because their parents wouldn't let them participate. It's sad.
It must be fun to watch all of that. __________________

Jenny - I love Halloween too. I still love it, even though it's not the same. I take my niece out trick or treating, and there's hardly any kids. Not like in my day. Roseanne was the best. It was an event every year looking forward to her Halloween shows. Home Improvement was good too. __________________
