Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)
 A young tomboy, Watts, finds her feelings for her best friend, Keith, run deeper than just friendship when he gets a date with the most popular girl in school. I had heard of this movie once or twice and then it was on HBO last week. I watched it and really loved it!
 I can't remember the exact wording of it, but the quote about being with the wrong person for right reasons or something like that, I love that quote and scene where Keith realizes he loves Watts. They made such a great couple.  It's so sweet when she thought he needed help kissing and he makes her blush!  Then later the end when he flashes back to it. Awww.Yes I really love this movie and I've only seen it once! Thanks for starting this thread.  __________________

Aw yay, Im glad that Im not the only one. I actually watched this movie on HBO last night as well
But I have seen it a few times before. I love all those scenes as well and the part at the ending when he says." You know you were going to get those, didnt you?" " Yeah, how do they look on me" " They look nice on you for wearing my future" Or something along those lines |

I like the fact that the really tough punk guy ended up being cool and helping Keith. And yeah, his sudden reaction like woah! I love my best friend. __________________

Yeah! He said they weren't even gonna hurt them, they're just gonna scare them by looking at them. It's funny too when Keith purposely tries to get dentention to be near "Ms. Amanda Jones" and she ends up talking her way out of it. hehe And his youngest sister is so smart and cute! __________________

She was cute, at first a bit annoying but it was nice of her to tell her brother what was going to happen to him if he went to that party.

I bought my own copy of this movie and I'm glad I did. It's still as good as the first time I saw it.

I love this movie, I laugh everytime at the scenes with Keith and his sister. Great music and it's just a masterpiece from the 80s.

 guys!  this is one of my favorite movies..  i bought a dvd copy of this movie, several months ago.. but it doesnt have any spl features or what not..  ..and what do you know, i just checked amazon.com recently and found out that a collector's edition of the movie has just been released!?! bummer..  __________________
