Wasn't she dating the play's director, who happened to be his friend? I know he met Kate like that. It may not have been the same ep.

Okay, I guess he didn't fall for the leading lady. He actually went to the audition with another girl from school. They were auditioning for the school play and he convinced her to go with him to the auditions in New York.

Oh, I got it now.

I'm watching the ep where Jason and Maggie found out that Mike had a paper due the next day but had waited 4 weeks. They kept trying to put him back in his room to work on it.

I remember that very well. He kept going out of his room or getting sidetracked. I think it even showed Jason and Maggie sitting in the living room listening to all the footsteps going around upstairs if I remember right.

Yep, and he had to go upstairs and take Mike's stereo.

I'm watching the ep where Bobby proposed to Carol.

That one is a little blurry for me. What happened?

Bobby proposed. He asked Carol "Will you we my bife?" He was so nervous. They made plans to get married in a year after high school when they both chose their colleges. Both Carol and Bobby's parents were not pleased at all.

Of course, things started to fall apart. Carol wanted to go to Harvard, and Bobby wanted to go to a football college.

The end scene was the breakup. They were all ready to get in a cab and run off when they broke up. Bobby drove off in the cab, leaving Carol at the curb. Then came Mike. Mike, not knowing what happened, made a crack at her. Then Carol, with tears in her eyes, jumped into Mike's arms. She was a sobbing mess. Mike just hugged her as the credits rolled.

Oh! Now I remember. It was one of the few times where there was a tender moment between Carol and Mike.

Yeah, Mike knew when to stop. He just held Carol and let her cry.

Watched the ep where Maggie and Carol went to a salon. They shared secrets, and Maggie told Jason. Carol was so upset.

Oh, I remember the episode but not what Carol's secret was.

She and her friends lied. They were having a sleepover at her friend's house, but then they sneaked out, took the subway to Soho. They went to a 21 and older club. The bouncer didn't want to let them in, but Carol greased the bouncer. There they stayed out all night and danced with men who didn't speak English. They sneaked back in her friend's house and no one knew.

Oh, that is right! They were having such a good time too sharing secrets. Maggie was so into it and laughing and smiling. I remember her smile quickly fading as Carol told her this.

Right. She wasn't expecting that.
