Some people thought that Jason being a doctor from home and Maggie being a working professional was a rip off of "The Cosby Show". However, the creator said it was based off of his own parents and the similarity was just a coincidence.

And Maggie wasn't always working outside the home. She stayed at home with the kids for a while.

I would of liked it to continue. The last season was kind of "off" and it didn't have the same feeling in some ways as the previous seven seasons, but I still would of taken more. You?

I liked the Christmas episodes but always felt like the first one where one of Jason's patients threatens to kill himself by throwing himself down their chimney was quite dark.
