Beloved 1984 classic. It's Christmas in Kensington Falls, and Billy Peltzer gets a most unusual gift from his dad. A rare animal he names Gizmo. Gizmo comes with strict rules, and when those aren't enforced, Billy and his girlfriend must save the town from creatures who have run amok.

The first time I saw this we were on vacation in the Seattle area. Went to see it at The Sea Tac Mall in Federal Way.

Yes. I definitely saw it in the theater more than once but I can't remember which theater the other times were.
