"Golden Girls" star Rue McClanahan passes away at 76

This is sad. Rue McClanahan, best known as Blanche on "The Golden Girls", has passed away. She was 76 years old.

I know she had had a stroke not too long ago, but I was under the impression that she was getting better. Not sure the cause just yet.

Yeah this has really got me down too. Only Betty White left.

Rue had a major stroke.

Wow that is sad news. Poor Betty too, she is the only one left out of the bunch and she was the oldest too. Keep doing whatever your doing, Betty.

Sad indeed.

It seems like a celebrity is dying every other day.

I can see Betty hitting 100. If anyone can, it's her!.

Melis, it's been tough. Two TV icons and a film legend within a week. I hope it won't be brutal like it was last summer.

What freaked me out more was realizing apparently we've been losing one of them every year... Estelle, Bea, now Rue... Oh Betty
