I watched the episode today where Dorothy decides to remarry Stanley. She has something borrowed, new, and something blue, then Sophia walks in and says, "Old enough for ya?"

I LOVE the Golden Girls! I still watch epi's all the time!! All 4 have perfect comedic timing.

They sure do!. I think this is the only show where all main leads won Emmys for Best Actress.

I love The Golden Girls. I have been a member over at The Golden Girls @ Couch Potatoes (Powered by Invision Power Board) for over 4 years, and it is so nice to have a community devoted entirely to The Golden Girls so many years after it went off the air.

Incredible. And probably has something to do with Bea, Betty, and Rue being so well-known even beforehand, with Estelle as such a scene-stealer in her own right.

That's right

And it is one of only 3 shows (the other two being All In The Family and Will & Grace) where each cast-member won an Emmy.

The cast have been in the news a bit this week.

- The show was among the recipients of the Disney Legends Award and Betty White accepted the award on behalf of the other actresses.
- Bea Arthur's public memorial took place yesterday, and Rue McClanahan said a few words.
- Betty White will be given a lifetime achievement award at next year's Screen Actor's Guild Awards.
