Golden Girls Appreciation Thread!

Since we have a Mama's Family thread here,
it reminded me of the Golden Girls, because of a little character swapping!

So anyone else a fan of these 4 lovely ladies?

Awesome! I was just thinking about this last night, for the very same reason - reading the "Mama's Family" thread (another great show) and remembering all the other famous elderly women characters of the decade. Even narrowed down to game show plotlines.

This is pretty much my favorite icon ever, LOL. But it's just a hair over 40kb, so can't be used.

It's funny. I thought we did too and I had actually thought of creating a fresh, new one just the other day!. Lol.

I loved this show. Watched it every week. So funny!. Each and every one of them were their own distinct character and their own type of humor. Nothing, and I repeat NOTHING, could top Bea Arthur's humor and sharp tongued wit. She was amazing.

I think Blanche was my favorite, but I liked all of them.
